Event Recap

The Purdue Mechatronics Club EXPO 2016 was held on Friday October 28, 2016 at 6pm-8:30pm. The event started with an introduction of the Purdue Mechatronics club and club-sponsored refreshments for attendees. Following was a web-conference from Kevin Leung, a Tech Evangelist from Microsoft's Chicago-campus. Next was Rachel Gerrish, COO of AgBot. Both speakers introduced themselves and shared their experience of working with IoT and its impacts in the industry. Finally, the PMTR Club President Dominick Lee gave a tutorial of the NodeMCU and how it works with Amazon Web Services. The event concluded.
